Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies exclusively to imining GmbH.

Insofar as you, the client, enter information on the imining website, this will be deemed consent to your personal data being processed and used in accordance with section 4a of the BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Law), within the framework of the guidelines hereby laid down. In this context, please note that certain links (electronic “references”) on our website lead to the websites of third parties, who due to their national autonomy and independence and divergent rule of law, are not subject to the contents of this privacy policy. imining GmbH shall not be held liable for the contents and/or the treatment of data on these other websites.

Information provided

The imining website does not save any personal data without your consent. However, such data must be provided in the course of the online application in the areas of the imining website used for this purpose (such as your name, e-mail address, possibly your telephone and fax numbers in the course of the purchase or when filling out the contact form).

We shall not require you to provide so-called special types of personal data in the sense of section 3 paragraph 9 of the BDSG on the imining website (such as data regarding your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical convictions, membership of a trade union, heath or sexual orientation). If, however, you should provide such data without being required to do so, we shall delete this without being requested to do so.

Cookies and web beacons

In order to manage the imining website efficiently and to improve navigation, we use so-called cookies (small text files which are offered to the user’s browser) and if necessary web beacons (electronic images) to collect abstract user data. Some areas of the imining website require the acceptance of a cookie for technical reasons. We use these tools in order to identify user data such as the IP address, the domain, the browser type and the pages visited on our imining website.

Our cookies and, where applicable, web beacons, do not collect any kind of personal data such as names or e-mail addresses. To avoid accepting any cookies, you should set your Internet browser so that it either accepts no cookies at all, or so that it asks you for your consent to receive each individual cookie.

Data use

The personal data which you have left on the imining website will be used for all purposes to which the user has freely consented in the sense of section 4a of the BDSG, such as while placing an order or registering to receive general or exclusive information, as well as for purposes which registered users could expect in the course of their website use. Insofar as you, as a registered visitor, no longer wish to use the information on offer and/or other areas, you can at any time withdraw consent for the continued future use of your personal data.

Transfer of information to third parties

We will not pass on your personal data to external third parties without your consent. We will only pass on personal data within the framework of the German Federal Data Protection Law, in particular, insofar as we are legally obliged to release data to courts or authorities within Germany or to transfer data abroad to courts and authorities abroad.

Data security

To safeguard visitor data, imining GmbH uses generally recognized technological safety standards to protect said data on the imining website from abuse, loss and tampering. Moreover, only certain employees of imining are authorized to access personally identifiable visitor data. These employees ensure, within the limits of the purpose of provision, that the confidentiality of this sensitive data is maintained. Insofar as a visitor enters data on the imining website, in accordance with section 4a of the German Federal Data Protection Law he is deemed to have consented to the collection, processing and use of his data by imining (allowing for the website communication and the provision of this continually accessible note on confidentiality) simply by sending his visitor data.

All visitors to this imining website should also be advised that links (electronic “references”) on the imining website lead to other websites and information from third parties. Unless expressly stated otherwise, imining GmbH takes no responsibility for the websites of third parties, including their compliance with certain safety standards or compliance with the German Federal Data Protection Law.

Changes to this privacy policy

imining GmbH reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time. The imining website, including this policy, was set up to provide information and advice on certain topics and to enable the purchase of the software tools programmed by imining GmbH.
